The Master Mediator Institute was created to bring together professionals in conflict resolution and other fields where an understanding of decision making is critical with neuroscientists and social scientists who study human behavior. MMI presents Immersion Courses to allow mediators, advocates and other professionals to connect with leading scientists and academics to explore cutting edge knowledge about the mind, the brain and decision making.
MMI Colleagues are intellectually curious individuals who seek a greater understanding about the science of decision making, neuroscience and human behavior and are continually interested in growing, reflecting and striving for mastery in their work. By expanding our knowledge about the complexities of human behavior and seeking to apply this knowledge to our practices as mediators, negotiators, advocates and facilitators, we enhance our ability to support people in conflict who are seeking resolution to difficult, painful, costly and complex problems.
Although the MMI community is primarily composed of mediators we welcome all professionals interested in understanding more about the science of conflict resolution, negotiation and decision making such as lawyers, jury consultants, professors, insurance adjustors, communications experts, human resource professionals, coaches, family business advisers and leaders of corporations and non-profit organizations.
